Lisa Deeter graduates from Clarion University

Lisa Deeter of Oil City, PA received a ASN degree in Nursing during commencement ceremonies at Clarion University, Saturday, May 8 in Waldo S. Tippin Gymnasium.

A total of 1,140 students received their degrees during two ceremonies, with 223 graduate/master's degree diplomas and 907 undergraduate degree diplomas presented. Alumni Bob Dandoy ('74) and Ian Hurbanek ('05) delivered commencement addresses.

Dandoy is a member of the English faculty at Slippery Rock University and president-elect of the Clarion University Alumni Association Board.

Hurbanek is a captain in the Pennsylvania National Guard who has served five overseas tours of duty. He is an aircraft commander, pilot and flight safety officer
